On "what is left over / what goes forward" – A New Perspective
A guided tour introducing Alfredo Pirri’s works, followed by a workshop inspired by the exhibition’s theme.
The event is aimed at adults keen to deepen their understanding of the works on display, grasp the artist’s message and experience it through a creative workshop suitable for all. Following a brief theoretical introduction to the works, we will work with materials, using our hands and our imagination, to connect with what the exhibition space suggests.
Workshop fee: €10.00 (+ Polytropon Arts Centre membership card if not already a member, for a reduced rate of €5.00).

Elena Gabbanini
Elena Gabbanini is an art therapist and workshop leader born in Florence. Initially she studied psychology but then chose to follow her creative calling, establishing herself as a graphic designer, photo editor and photo manager, and leading the Blueroomstudio project as co-founder. However, her encounter with art therapy would be the full realisation of her way of experiencing art – art in its deepest root of ‘Ar-’, from the Sanskrit ‘to go towards’; an art that becomes communication through images, working with one’s hands, and feeling the material and its vibrations. After graduating from Art Therapy Italiana in Bologna, she actively runs workshops and personal development courses in her small studio, Elgartt Lab, and in collaboration with organisations and cooperatives.
