Exhibition and
Performance Gallery
A 240 sqm (2,585 sq ft) versatile space dedicated to exhibitions, performances, and cultural events. This is Polytropon’s main area, which also houses the administrative offices and a café with a riverside garden overlooking the Sieve. The gallery fosters community interaction and cultural exchange in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.
Project
Room
Located a few metres away and slightly below street level, the 135 sqm (1,453 sq ft) Project Room originally served as a hydroelectric power plant in the 1800s and later as a butcher’s storage. Abandoned since the 1960s, it has been reborn as a laboratory for site-specific art projects and sound installations, preserving its industrial heritage while embracing contemporary creativity.
Polytropon also provides a flexible environment for a wide range of activities, including creative laboratories, theatre workshops, book presentations, fashion shows, wine tastings, cooking classes, wellness sessions, and private events or celebrations.
