Alfredo’s Ship
A family tour for children aged 6–12 of Alfredo Pirri’s exhibition, featuring a creative workshop.

This family-focused event is designed to foster various forms of sharing and connection through art: between visitors of all ages, with the exhibition spaces, with the works on display, and with the stories they tell. We will begin with a narrative introduction, open to questions and curiosity, exploring the artist’s vision. Following this, we will immerse ourselves in a creative workshop focused on the collaboration between parents and children in response to Alfredo Pirri’s imaginative world.

Workshop fee: €10.00 for parents / €8.00 for children (+ Polytropon Arts Centre membership fee if not already a member; a reduced rate of €5.00 applies to adults only).
Maximum 12 participants.

To secure your place at the event, we recommend booking by emailing: info@polytropon-arts.org

Elena Gabbanini

Elena Gabbanini is an art therapist and workshop leader born in Florence. Initially she studied psychology but then chose to follow her creative calling, establishing herself as a graphic designer, photo editor and photo manager, and leading the Blueroomstudio project as co-founder. However, her encounter with art therapy would be the full realisation of her way of experiencing art – art in its deepest root of ‘Ar-’, from the Sanskrit ‘to go towards’; an art that becomes communication through images, working with one’s hands, and feeling the material and its vibrations. After graduating from Art Therapy Italiana in Bologna, she actively runs workshops and personal development courses in her small studio, Elgartt Lab, and in collaboration with organisations and cooperatives.
